Terms & Conditions + Liability Waiver

Please carefully read all policies below. By purchasing a retreat with The Blank Space LLC, you are agreeing to all terms, conditions, and the liability waiver stated below.

By proceeding to purchase any of The Blank Space Retreats, classes, or services, I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver. The Blank Space LLC may update these terms at any time after providing notice to participants. By continuing to use our services, I agree to be bound by any future amendments. The most current version of this agreement can be viewed at www.theblankspace.com/contract.

I agree to pay the total retreat fee for my chosen accommodation option no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date. All payments will be made through The Blank Space. Failure to make all payments by this deadline may result in cancellation of my reservation with no refund.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason regardless of cancellation date. I understand that I have until 61 days before the retreat start date to request a refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. If cancellation is made after the 61-day deadline, I understand that all payments, including the deposit, are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds or transfers available for cancellations made after the stated deadline for any reason including, but not limited to, weather, natural disaster, pandemics, acts of terrorism, flight delays or cancellations, health conditions, personal or family emergencies, work conflicts, or change of mind. This includes all COVID-related cancellations such as illness, travel restrictions, quarantines, or lockdowns.

I agree to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by The Blank Space LLC during the retreat. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive may result in my removal from the retreat without refund. Participants must be 18 years or older to attend and must be female-identifying to participate in women’s-only retreats. I understand that I am booking the package as described in the retreat details.

If I have dietary restrictions or allergies, I understand it is my responsibility to notify The Blank Space LLC no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. The Blank Space will do its best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee special arrangements if notified later than this deadline. If I have specific room requests, The Blank Space will make every effort to honor them, though such accommodations cannot be guaranteed since the venue is not owned by The Blank Space.

The total cost paid covers one space on the retreat including accommodations, meals, and activities listed on the retreat itinerary. Transportation to and from the venue, as well as any personal excursions outside of the official itinerary, are not included in the total cost. The Blank Space LLC is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or circumstances that occur outside of scheduled retreat activities or during off-property excursions. The Blank Space LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing items, nor for airline cancellations, missed flights, or transportation issues prior to or after the retreat.

International Travel Requirements

For retreats held outside the United States, I understand and agree to the following additional requirements:

• It is my sole responsibility to know, obtain, and maintain any necessary passports, visas, travel permits, entry requirements, vaccinations, or health documents required by the destination country.
  
  

• The Blank Space LLC is not responsible for denied entry, immigration issues, passport delays, expired documentation, or any additional fees or travel disruptions resulting from incomplete or incorrect travel requirements.
  
  

• I understand that international travel may involve unexpected delays, government restrictions, weather interruptions, civil unrest, or geopolitical circumstances, and I assume all associated risks.
  
  

Mandatory Travel Insurance

I agree to purchase mandatory travel insurance for any international retreat. This insurance must include:

• Trip cancellation and interruption coverage
  
  

• Emergency medical and evacuation coverage
  
  

• Lost or delayed baggage coverage
  
  

Proof of travel insurance must be submitted to The Blank Space LLC no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation of my reservation with no refund.

Additional Terms

All reservations are first come, first served. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The total retreat balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. Cash payments will not be accepted upon arrival for any reason. I understand that I must sign and return this Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver before receiving the retreat location details. Unauthorized sharing of the retreat venue address with anyone who has not completed registration, payment, and signed this agreement is strictly prohibited.

I understand that upon conclusion of the event, I must vacate the venue promptly at checkout. Failure to do so may result in late fees charged by the venue, which I will be responsible for paying. If I choose to bring a pet (only if permitted by the retreat), I assume full responsibility for cleanup and any damages or disturbances caused by my pet. Proof of current vaccinations may be required by the venue. The Blank Space reserves the right to ask me to leave the retreat without refund if my pet poses a risk to others or to wildlife.

Health, Safety & Liability

I acknowledge that participating in yoga, meditation, or outdoor retreat activities involves inherent risks including physical injury, illness, accidents, property damage, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in The Blank Space Retreats. It is my responsibility to consult a physician before participating if I have any concerns about my physical health or ability. I agree to inform the instructors of any preexisting conditions to receive appropriate modifications during activities.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize The Blank Space organizers to obtain medical treatment for me, including first aid, CPR, or transportation to the nearest medical facility. I understand and accept full financial responsibility for any treatment received, including international medical care which may require upfront payment.

I consent to the use of photographs, videos, or other media taken during the retreat for promotional purposes by The Blank Space LLC and, if applicable, the retreat venue. I understand that The Blank Space LLC is not responsible for any damages to my personal property and that I am financially responsible for any damages I may cause to the venue or its property during my stay.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in The Blank Space Retreats, I release and discharge The Blank Space LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from or in connection with my participation in retreat activities, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Blank Space LLC, its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, or expenses, including attorney fees, resulting from my participation in the retreat.

Should The Blank Space LLC need to enforce this agreement through legal means, I agree to indemnify them for any attorney’s fees or costs incurred. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any portion of this document is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
